AWR Music Productions and SQUARE ENIX are proud to present NieR:Orchestra Concert 12026 [ YoRHa ]! From the team that shattered the paradigm with NieR:Orchestra Concert 12024 [the end of data], experience the music and vision anew.

This concert tour will be conducted by Eric Roth and will feature an immersive performance which brings together the power of a full orchestra and chorus, the intensity of original NieR vocalists Emi Evans and J’Nique Nicole, stunning visuals on a giant screen, and a new narrated story, inviting you into an expanded musical world of the NieR series.

The concert features recorded recitations by Yui Ishikawa (No.2), Reina Tanaka (No.4), Mio Hanana (No.21), and Chihira Mochida (No.16), presenting episodes related to the “Pearl Harbor Descent Operation,” the prequel story to NieR:Automata. The story unfolds, richly integrated with the music.

Conductor

Eric Roth

Eric Roth is a formidable musical force: a music director/conductor, an orchestrator/arranger, a producer of concerts and recordings, a composer of original music, and much more.  

Eric is the music director and chief arranger for A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY, the chamber music ensemble concert production by AWR Music Productions and video game developer SQUARE ENIX. Since premiering in 2014, the production has performed outstanding concerts on five continents and released three acclaimed full-length recordings. He is also the associate music director and an orchestrator/arranger for Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY, the global live orchestral performance phenomenon.

Starting in 2024, he was the conductor for the paradigm shattering NieR:Orchestra Concert 12024 [ the end of data ] for performances worldwide, and for the NieR:Orchestra Concert re:12024 [ the end of data ] audio release, recorded live in Tokyo. Eric was also the conductor for many concert performances of the FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Orchestra World Tour.

Vocalist

Emi Evans

Emi Evans is a Tokyo-based English singer, lyricist, voiceover, artist and vocalist for the ambient electronic duo freesscape.

Emi grew up in England playing cello, singing in church choir, and composing songs. At the age of 16, she was scouted by a SONY producer for the emotion in her voice and the dream of becoming a singer was born.

Emi's breakout in the world of video games was with SQUARE ENIX's award-winning soundtrack to NieR (2010) which captivated fans with her signature "Chaos Language." As well as the NieR series, Emi has sung for titles such as Dark Souls, Ace Combat, Monster Hunter, and Granblue Fantasy. She has collaborated with renowned composers such as Motoi Sakuraba, Norihiko Hibino, Nobuo Uematsu, Yuzo Koshiro, Noriyuki Iwadare, Yasunori Mitsuda, and others. 

Singing mainly in “Chaos Language,” Emi specializes in creating unique and ethereal atmospheres with her emotional vocals.

Vocalist

J'nique Nicole

J’Nique Nicole is an internationally acclaimed vocalist whose voice has helped define the emotional sound of the NieR series. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee and based in Tokyo, Japan, she is widely known for performing the English version of NieR:Automata’s iconic theme, “Weight of the World,” for which she also wrote the lyrics. Her powerful interpretation of the song, along with performances of fan favorites including “City Ruins,” “Memories of Dust,” and “A Beautiful Song" have resonated deeply with audiences worldwide. Through the official NieR:Orchestra Concert series, J’Nique’s vocals bring the music of NieR to life on stage.

Beyond NieR, her voice can also be heard in major titles including Street Fighter 6FOAMSTARS, and Gran Saga, the latter featuring music composed by renowned composer Yoko Shimomura. She has also performed as a backing vocalist for several Japanese artists including Toshinobu Kubota. J’Nique is also an independent recording artist, songwriter, and producer who has performed on prestigious stages worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, where she made history as the first Black video game soundtrack vocalist to do so.

Composer

Keiichi Okabe

Born in 1969. Born in Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from the Department of Visual Information Design at Kobe Design University, he worked for Namco Inc. (currently Bandai Namco Studios) before establishing Monaka Ltd. in 2004.

Worked on music for NieR Gestalt/Replicant in 2010, Drag on Dragoon 3 in 2013, and NieR:Automata in 2017, and other NieR games.

He creates catchy music from lyrical melodic vocal songs to danceable tracks for anime and games as his main platform.

Major works: NieR series, SINoALICE, TV anime series Yuki Yuna is a Hero, etc.

Director

Yoko Taro

Born in 1970. Born in Aichi Prefecture. After graduating from Kobe Design University, he worked for Namco Inc. (currently Bandai Namco Studios) and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. before joining Cavia Inc. After gaining experience as a designer, he directed the Drakengard series and NieR Gestalt/Replicant for SQUARE ENIX.

After leaving Cavia Inc., he launched BUKKORO and released NieR: Automata in 2017. He serves as creative director for the latest work Voice of Cards series, also by SQUARE ENIX.

His unique worldview and stories are known as "YOKO-world," and he has worked on a wide range of projects, including the smartphone game SINoALICE and NieR Re[in]carnation as well as the comic Thou Shalt Not Die and Yoshinoya Brothers and stage play scenarios.

Producer

Yosuke Saito

Born in 1970. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Kanagawa University, he joined SQUARE ENIX in 1993.

He worked on Dragon Quest X Online, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, NieR series, and Voice of Cards series. In addition, he is currently the producer of the idol group GEMS COMPANY.

His NieR series credits include NieR Gestalt/Replicant, NieR:Automata, NieR Re[in]carnation, and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.
